This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Michael Paul Abell who was born in Henrico Virginia on April 7, 1984 and was taken away from us on June 25, 2005 at the age of 21. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Daniel Paul Hale... and followed in death (same day,only hours after) by his grandmother Martha Belle Hale. He is survived by his parents, Mike & Cyndi Abell; fiance' Christina Callis; three sisters and their families, Wendy & Chuck Conner and nephew CJ and niece Tiffany, Stacey and Kyle White and nephew Gavin; Lara & Dwayne Shaw and nieces Hope & Hailey; grandparents, Bud & Pat Stoddard of Arizona, and John T. Abell of Rhode Island; special cousins Crystal Sullivan & Eric Cox; aunt Theresa Cox & uncle Jeff; uncle Johnny Denny of Prince George, (2nd mom) Beverly White of Varina, aunt Linda Labelle & uncle Mike; Uncle J.P. & Becky Abell of VT; cousins Jonathan Abell of VT and Jessica Abell of Tidewater, VA; Aunt Sharron Abell & Megan Abell of Chesterfield, VA; Uncle Tommy Abell and cousins in CA; Uncle Jay & Pam Shaffer of Richmond VA; cousin Nichole Shaffer; cousins Jamie & Jeffery Runion of Richmond, VA; The Carwile cousins: Steven, Zach and Courtney. He was the drummer and co-founder of the punk band Losers Next Door. Graduated from Douglas S. Freeman High School in 2002, where he was a member of the marching band in which he played flute, marimba, and euphonium. He was 1st place in Va. on the ABA circuit in BMX racing (won a silver medal in the Budds Creek Nationals)@ 13. He loved Texas Hold-em, extreme sports, his Acura Integra, Paintball, Go-Carts, fishing, moto-X, bowling, cooking, so many talents! He was also a talented woodworker and cabinetmaker. We will love & remember him forever.
