Mike Abell was many things. A good drummer, a good poker player, a caring boyfriend, an amazing son and a good friend. Mike accelled at everything that he put his heart  into and his passion for life is something that will never be forgotten. Mike Abell was never a Loser, but he will always be Next Door

My heart goes out to all the family and friends of this young man. I know your hearts must be breaking as is mine. Michael was very much loved and will never be forgotten. His warmth, his infectious smile, and his sense of humor made him so much fun to be around. He was one of the most genuine people I have ever met, and we always loved him visiting in our home over the years. I will cherish all the pictures we have of him showing both his tender side  and his fun-loving side. He will be greatly missed! My prayers are for your comfort in this tragic loss of one so very good.

We will miss Michael Paul.. From seeing the many friends and family at the Celebration service, we could feel the infectious caring of his many friends and family. He was an amazing young man, a talented drummer and musician, his love of life was infectious.
He will be missed and remembered by many more. Among his gifts to his family and friends was his smile and an ability to make people laugh,he was always able to make you laugh.
His music and musical ability will be missed by many and especially those of his bandmates.

He was a special young man and made a mark for himself with his music and his thoughtfulness.
Too soon gone from this earth, loved by many, missed by all.

I knew Michael Abell for a long time. He used to date my sister for crying out loud...I was in band with him at Tuckohoe and at Freeman...We were close friends when we were in school and knew each other very well. I'm sure He is in a good place. I knew he was going to be successful in life, being one of the greatest drummers in Virginia and all. Anyways, I hope you, the parents, are doing well and OK and I'm terribly sorry for your loss...youmet me at tobacco town to to refresh your memory...anyways, Michael, rest in peace and I hope the family is OK.
